Nicole Jacobsen is an Associate at Gromet & Associates. Her practice focuses on representing clients in real estate transactions including: assisting in purchase and sale agreements for residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties, negotiating leases, executing easements and land use agreements, facilitating 1031 exchanges and providing title and environmental due diligence review.
Prior to joining Gromet and Associates, Nicole served as Of Counsel at Weissman Law in the firm’s residential real estate practice where she successfully finalized over 260 real estate acquisitions. Nicole represented financial institutions, mortgage lenders, institutional investors, and borrowers in real estate commercial and residential financing transactions and routinely worked with insurers, lenders, underwriters and borrowers in navigating their real estate transactions from onset to closing.
Earlier in her career, Nicole specialized in employment law. Nicole’s practice focused on employment litigation specifically CA labor code violations, PAGA, class action and discrimination claims under the ADA and FEHA.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts from BYU graduating as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and her J.D. from BYU – J. Reuben Clark Law School where she received accolades competing as a member of the Moot Court Team. During her graduate school years, Nicole served as a Law Clerk for Harris Corporation, supporting the Product Liability Counsel and General Litigation Counsel.
In addition to her regular practice, Nicole has worked as a volunteer attorney for the Orange County Public Law Center. Nicole is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in California and Georgia.
